A FOOTBALL manager is going to new heights to help the new team he established three months ago.

Matty Lucas will be jumping out of a plane in Lancaster on October 22 to raise money for his team, Winsford Over 3 under 12s Dragons.

Brave Matty, 34, from Winsford, says his skydive is also to put a smile on all of his players’ faces because he will be doing it while dressed up as Spiderman!

The reach forklift truck driver, a former student at Woodford Lodge High School, Winsford, has already put so much of his time and effort into his team, who have won their last two league games and are described as ‘doing really well’.

Team organisers have already managed to raise funds for the players’ home and away kits, training equipment and winter coats.

Extra funds are now needed for players’ winter hats and a fun day out over Christmas at Stoke City where they have been offered a chance to take part in flag bearing.

Any donation big or small would be much appreciated by Matty and his fundraising page can be visited online justgiving.com/crowdfunding/jade-lucas-2?utm_term=yN7Wp23E8
