WINNINGTON Park Bowmen's Leigh Hadfield is Cheshire champion.
He finally got his hands on the Cheshire men's recurve title at the county shoot last week.
A gruelling 1440 arrows were shot at four distances, 100m and 70m on a 122cm target and then 50m and 30m shot on an 80cm target.
The weather had not been too kind for the Cheshire weekend, but the team of Leigh, Alex Sayers and Amanda Rose battled through the rain
Sayers also produced a great performance in a tough category of national recurve archers.
Rose achieved third place on both days.
