CHESHIRE Gymnastics are quickly gaining a reputation as having some of the sport’s best facilities.
Having welcomed an international team last year, the Moss Farm-based club will now host this weekend’s National Northern Open event.
It means the club will now have some of the country’s best gymnasts competing under their roof including two of their own, with Cheshire members Ethan Spencer, 16, and Alisha Evanson, 20, part of the field.
This comes hot on the heels of the club playing host to the USA’s male and female artistic gymnastics team prior to them competing at the World Championships in October.
“We have an exciting vision for the future of gymnastics in the north 2est Region and are working closely with the council to bring these plans to life,” owners Mark and Laura Hudson said.
“The plans aim to improve the quality of provision for all young budding gymnasts across all of the major disciplines in this region.
“Although we now compete on a regular basis, our grassroots programme will always be our greatest priority.
“We love to welcome new starters of all ages and abilities, there’s something for everyone here.”
