THEY are wearing their medals with pride.
Nine pupils from Antrobus St Mark’s School competed in a local small schools sportshall athletics finals event that was staged at Weaverham High School.
Pupils were said to have represented the school brilliantly, demonstrating manner, sportsmanship and teamwork as they completed a series of track and field events.
When the results were announced the Antrobus pupils learned that they had finished in first place.
As a result of this success, they are now invited to attend the Cheshire and Warrington finals on Wednesday, March 22.
A school spokesperson said that the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves in what was an opportunity to compete against pupils from other small schools of a similar size and demographic.
