WITTON Albion have bowed out of the Cheshire Senior Cup.
Carl Macauley's side were beaten 3-1 by lower-ranked neighbours Winsford United at the U Lock It Stadium having made seven changes to their starting line-up.
Only George Nugent, Nathan Okome, Jawad Jebrin and Callum Saunders remained from Saturday's loss at Scarborough Athletic, and Albion fell behind after five minutes thanks to Ryan Jackson's goal.
Rob Hopley equalised for the hosts, only for Dave Short to restore Winsford's lead just after the half-hour mark.
Dylan Chalice then sealed Blues' win in the closing stages.
