1874 NORTHWICH saw their FA Cup campaign ended by a former Northwich Victoria striker on Saturday.
Co-managers Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison took their side north to face higher-ranked Lancaster City in the first qualifying round, but were undone by a second-half winner from Tom Kilifin.
The striker, who spent the 2019-20 campaign at Wincham Park, was on hand to slot home the rebound after 1874 stopper Tony Agayhere could only parry Paul Dawson's effort into his path.
The Greens must now dust themselves down for a return to Northern Premier League West Division action tomorrow night as they welcome Leek Town to Townfield.
