WITTON Albion could not make the most of a promising platform to record their first victory of the season.
They led 2-0 at half time against fellow slow starters Basford United, with Tom Owens opening the scoring before Jay Foley doubled the lead.
However, the hosts rebounded strongly to secure a share of the points, with Dominic Roma equalising after Alex Howes had pulled one back.
