WITTON Albion have bolstered their ranks with another new signing ahead of this weekend's fixtures.
Midfielder Callum Leigh has joined the club from Welsh side TNS having played for Carl Macauley's side as a trialist during the summer.
Leigh impressed in an Albion shirt during pre-season but the club have had to wait to receive international clearance for his signing.
The 19-year-old spent time in the academies of Football League sides Rochdale and Oldham Athletic but now, he is looking to kick on.
"I’m buzzing! I’m really happy to join Witton, kick on and have a successful season and hopefully a good cup run as well," he told the club website.
"I will bring composure in the midfield and hopefully goals and assists."
Leigh could make his debut when Witton welcome early Northern Premier League Premier Division pace-setters South Shields to Wincham Park on Saturday.
