SCOTT McGowan is returning to 1874 Northwich.
It has been confirmed that the Greens' record goalscorer will play for the club again as they embark on their first season back in the Northern Premier League.
Having scored 132 goals in 192 games over an initial five-year spell at the club, McGowan left last summer to test himself at a higher level, signing for NPL Premier Division club Nantwich Town.
Now, though, he is back to spearhead 1874's push to adapt to their new level.
