WITTON Albion and Northwich Victoria will once again meet as part of both sides' preparations for the new season.
Albion will take on their tenants at Wincham Park on Saturday, July 24, for the Vijay Anthwal Memorial Trophy – named after the late Witton club doctor who also served the Northwich community with distinction.
Vics won the last meeting between the two last August, with Steve Wilkes' side running out 3-0 victors.
The game is one of four pre-season friendlies confirmed by Witton as they get ready for the 2021-22 Northern Premier League season.
They will travel to Runcorn Linnets on Saturday, July 31 before welcoming Marine to Wincham Park on Tuesday, August 3.
A trip to Wales is in order for Carl Macauley's men on Saturday, August 7, as they travel to Welsh Premier League side Bala Town.
Kick off times for all four games are still to be confirmed while capacity limits will be dependent on what Covid restrictions – if any – are in place at the time.
