NORTHWICH racer Harry Cramer had an encouraging weekend on track at Oulton Park, writes Ste McNorton.
Driving his red Smart Clinic-sponsored Caterham 7, he was in red-hot form in qualifying as he managed to secure first in his class ahead of the first race.
However, he was hit from behind when the action started to drop him well down the field, but he recovered to secure a respectable seventh place.
The second race in sunny conditions went much better, with Cramer keeping out of trouble to secure second place.
