THEIR future has been the focus of speculation for much of the season.

Now though, Warrington Wolves can plan for next season to involve Ben Currie, Matt Davis and Jason Clark – and beyond in the case of Currie and Davis.

All three were due to be out of contract at the end of November but the club have now confirmed fresh deals for the forward trio.

Currie's new deal is the longest, with his three-year deal keeping him at the club until the end of the 2023 campaign.

Having put the nightmare of suffering two separate anterior cruciate knee ligament injuries behind him, the England international is getting closer and closer to his best.

Now 26 and with 180 Wire appearances under his belt, he wants to take that next step in terms of his responsibility within the team.

“I’m very happy to have signed a new deal with the club," he said.

"I joined in 2011 and debuted in 2012 so I’m delighted to be able to commit my long-term future to Warrington.

“I’m one of the senior boys now and really feel like I’ve developed and matured as a player during my time here.

"For the next step of my career, I want to kick on and become a leader for this team and hopefully lead us towards some silverware.”

Clark and his family – wife Lauren and daughters Milla, Andi and Billie – arrived in Warrington two years ago after he signed from South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Having now completed two seasons with the club, helping them win the Challenge Cup last season, the Australian is aiming for more with former South Sydney teammate and good friend Greg Inglis on his way for next year.

“It’s awesome to have signed a new deal with the club," he said after committing himself until November 2021.

"Warrington is home for myself and my family now and we’re very settled here.

“Next year we want to be consistent, competing each week and working towards being in those two finals towards the end of the year.

"It’s exciting times ahead.”

Davis has also completed two seasons with Warrington having joined from London Broncos and has made 31 appearances for the club.

Now, like his teammates, the 24-year-old is aiming to kick on both personally and collectively.

“I’m really pleased to have re-signed with Warrington," he said.

"I’ve really enjoyed my time at the club so far and I feel like I’ve developed a lot as a player since joining.

“I’ve got some great mates here, the coaching staff are fantastic and I believe we’re destined for good things in the next couple of years.”
