WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed new contracts for three of their first-team stars.

Ben Currie, Jason Clark and Matt Davis were all out of contract at the end of this month but have all penned fresh terms at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

England international Currie has signed a new three-year contract to keep him at the club until November 2023 while fellow second-rower Davis has signed on for two more seasons, with his new deal expiring in November 2022.

Warrington Guardian:

Australian forward Clark is in his second season with the club after arriving from South Sydney Rabbitohs and is now contracted until November 2021.

Wire head coach Steve Price expressed his satisfaction with all three new deals and looked to Currie in particular to become a leader within the team.

“I’m delighted that all three players have agreed new deals with the club," he said.

“It’s fantastic to have Ben Currie re-signed for a further three years.

"I thought he had a really strong season this year and he’s only going to get better.

"I see Ben capable of being a future leader of our club going forward and driving high standards.”
