WITTON Albion, 1874 Northwich and Barnton have all discovered their next cup opponents for this season.

In the FA Trophy First Round Proper, Albion have been drawn to face fellow Pitching In Northern Premier League side Bamber Bridge at Wincham Park.

Carl Macauley's side went straight through to this stage of the tournament without playing after third qualifying round opponents Scarborough Athletic forfeited the tie due to positive Covid-19 tests among their players.

In the FA Vase, 1874 Northwich are rewarded for beating Harrogate Railway Athletic on Saturday with another home tie, with County Durham-based side West Auckland Town the visitors to Townfield.

Barnton will also be at home against opposition from the north east if they can come through their postponed tie against Bacup Borough.

The winners of that tie – currently slated to be played on Saturday – will host Seaham Red Star.

Dates for all of these ties are yet to be confirmed, with the FA remaining in dialogue with the Government about the continuation of non-elite football during the impending national lockdown.
