STEVE Price thought his Warrington Wolves side's two-week break from games showed in their 19-12 win over Huddersfield Giants.
The Wire were rusty in large parts of the match but were able to close out an important victory in terms of their top-four ambitions.
"It showed we haven’t played for a few weeks," Price told Sky Sports post-match.
"When we got in good field position we couldn’t sustain pressure.
"A good gutsy win. To keep Huddersfield to 12 was pleasing.
"It’s a shame we picked up a couple of injuries but the guys showed a lot of grit."
