1874 NORTHWICH have confirmed that their first fixture of 2018 will be on a Sunday.
They were paired with Pontefract Collieries in a draw for FA Vase fourth round last week, and host the Northern Counties East League title-hopefuls on January 7, kick-off 3pm.
The tie has been put back 24 hours because Winsford United, landlords at the St Luke’s Barton Stadium, are scheduled to host Runcorn Linnets in a league fixture the previous afternoon.
It marks the start of busy week for a side managed by Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison with a visit from Altrincham for a Cheshire FA Senior Cup encounter scheduled for Tuesday, January 9, kick-off 7.45pm.
Should a head-to-head with Pontefract end in a draw after extra-time then a replay follows on Saturday, January 13.
