1874 NORTHWICH will have home advantage when they resume a historic FA Cup campaign later this month.
They were paired with Ossett Town, from the Northern Premier League’s First Division North, in a draw for the third qualifying round published on Monday.
The West Yorkshire side eliminated Atherton Collieries on Saturday.
It marks a third successive tie for 1874 against opponents that play at a higher level following victories against Mossley – league rivals of Ossett Town – and North Ferriby United.
A run to this stage of the competition for the first time has earned the club £10,925 in prize money.
Ossett are scheduled to visit St Luke’s Barton Stadium on Saturday week, September 30, kick-off 3pm.
