THERE was penalty shoot-out agony and ecstacy for Warrington teams in this evening's FA Cup tie.
Warrington Rylands caused yet another shock as they stunned Whitby Town - a team from two divisions higher - on spot-kicks.
Andy Scarisbrick scored Rylands' goal in normal time as the sides drew 1-1 and also converted the winning penalty as Dave McNabb's side advanced to the second qualifying round.
For Warrington Town, though, there was heartbreak as they lost in a shoot-out against South Shields at Cantilever Park.
The game finished goalless after 90 minutes but the visitors triumphed 6-5 on spot kicks.
More reaction to both games to follow
