WINNINGTON Park Cricket Club first XI suffered another heavy defeat against opposition from the league above.
Put into bat by Runcorn, Park could only muster 58 all out.
The opening pair of Runcorn bowlers - Rhys and Heath - ripped through the Park top order, removing star batsmen Barnes and Wales for single figure scores.
It was left to the unlikely trio of Walker (10), Room (9) and the evergreen Shingler (11 not out) to push Park beyond the 50 mark.
In reply, Runcorn knocked off the winning runs for the loss of only one wicket, a caught and bowled by Peter Room.
The second XI continued their winning ways at Irby.
Batting first, they posted an imposing 198 off their 40 overs.
Highlight of the day was a first fifty for Will Pimblett (53), ably supported by Reissing (33), Jayant (31), Paterson (24 not out) and Unwin (20 not out).
In reply Irby were never really in the hunt, finishing on 110-5 with James Hanson claiming 2 wickets.
