CUDDINGTON & Sandiway Tennis Club have a new head coach.
Alex King, who first started playing tennis at the club at the age of nine, takes up the role having moved back to Cuddington last year.
Since returning to the area, King has helped the Cuddington A team return to Division One of the Mid and South Cheshire Tennis League.
Now, he aims to help players of all ages and abilities and perhaps discover a budding champion.
King represented Cheshire at junior level, playing in tournaments all over the country.
A level three coach who is currently studying for his level four qualifications, King has over 10 years’ experience of working in high performance tennis.
He also coached a talented teenager from Wrexham who won Welsh National Championship titles at under 16s, under 18s and open age level.
The same player also made the last 16 of the GB winter national tour finals at Roehampton under his guidance.
