SCOTT McGowan's hat-trick sealed a stunning comeback from 1874 Northwich in a thrilling derby match against Northwich Victoria.

The striker levelled things up with two minutes remaining as 1874 came back from 3-0 down to extend their lead at the top of the North West Counties League Premier Division to eight points.

Vics dominated the first half and goals from Brandon Barski and Saul Henderson had them two goals up at the break.

Brad Lynch then struck less than a minute into the second half to give them a seemingly decisive lead, but McGowan's fine long-range strike immediately afterwards started the fightback.
