NORTHWICH Victoria could have a new signing in their ranks as they aim to sign off 2019 on a positive note.
Manager Steve Wilkes has added defender Jamie Forbes to his squad, following hot on the heels of goalkeeper Mike Hale, centre half Phillip Clarke and midfielder Joshua Winder.
Forbes, 28, joins from West Didsbury and Chorlton and was signed in time for the Boxing Day clash with 1874 Northwich, which ended up being postponed due to a waterlogged Wincham Park pitch.
Instead, the previous North West Counties Premier Division title winner with Atherton Collieries could make his debut at home to Bootle tomorrow, Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
Clarke, brought in from Conwy Borough, and Hale, from Bamber Bridge, made their debuts in the side's last outing against Padiham on December 21.
