WITH 16 players unavailable, Eagle had to travel to Hoylake’s seconds with a depleted 14-man team.
Not that it mattered.
They returned home having thrashed their hosts 55-5, with the forwards dominating from the start.
That set the platform for the backs to score some excellent tries as Eagle crossed the whitewash eight times in all.
Ben Kenwright scored twice, with further tries from Joe Miller, Kieran Thomas, Chris Bates, Martin Young, Ash Losh and Kyle Jones.
