Action from the Marbury Night Race
RUNNERS from all over the region descended upon Marbury Park to take on a unique race on Wednesday.
The Marbury Night 5 race saw competitors take on a course around the woodlands of Marbury and Anderton under the cover of darkness.
Members of 22 running clubs took part, with 168 representing hosts Northwich Running Club.
Darren Varley of Sandbach Striders was the first male runner to cross the line, with South Cheshire Harriers' Katie Latham the first woman home while Delamere Spartans took the team award.
