NORTHWICH Victoria have crashed out of the FA Vase in the second round.
Last year's semi-finalists lost their replay at lower level Wythenshawe Town 2-1 tonight.
Brad Byrne, one of Town's scorers as they successfully fought back from three goals down at Wincham Park on Saturday to force a 5-5 scoreline, put the hosts ahead after 10 minutes.
Brandon Barski equalised on the stroke of half time but former Knutsford striker Liam Myers, another of Town's scorers at the weekend, settled the tie after 63 minutes.
Ultimately, Vics lost as a result of not putting the tie to bed three days earlier when they had 3-0, 4-1 and 5-2 leads at various stages against the North West Counties First Division South side.
Wythenshawe will host Consett AFC in the third round.
