THE weather is taking its toll on sport today.

Although Witton Albion's FA Trophy trip to Lancaster City is still on, 1874 Northwich and Northwich Victoria no longer have fixtures this afternoon due to waterlogged pitches.

1874 were due to host Burscough at Townfield, while Vics were set to travel to Bootle but all matches in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division are off.

Witton's scheduled Tuesday clash with Radcliffe will have to be rearranged.

Their opponents, Radcliffe, have not been able to play their FA Trophy home contest with FC United of Manchester today and so that will take precedence in midweek.

This means Witton's next game after today will be away to Morpeth Town on Saturday, November 2, 3pm.

Neither 1874 or Vics have scheduled matches in midweek, so they are not due in action until next weekend.

Vics will host Wythenshaw Town in the second round of the FA Vase next Saturday, 3pm, while 1874 will visit Litherland REMYCA in the league, 3pm.
