MATT Farr heaped praise on Winnington Park’s youngsters as they continued their winning start to the new season.
De La Salle were beaten 20-13 as Park won their first away game of the season.
“A very satisfying victory when we were perhaps not at our best due to the number of changes made, “Farr said.
“All credit to De La Salle, who never gave up and made it a difficult game.
“Our young players were outstanding and these players and the club have a very bright future.”
Park are back at Burrows Hill on Saturday, with Eccles the visitors.
