A STUNNING strike from Liam Goulding helped Witton Albion extend their excellent form this afternoon.
Goulding thundered in an effort from 25 yards just after the hour mark and that proved enough to ensure Gainsborough Trinity left Wincham Park empty-handed.
At the other end, Carl Macauley's men proved impenetrable once again as they kept a fourth clean sheet in succession.
The result lifts them up to eighth in the BetVictor Northern Premier Division table.
Witton: Renshaw, Byrne (Owens), Short, Wardle, Anson, Goulding, McKenna, Smart, Lingouba (O'Hare), Jones, Murray (Foley). Subs not used: Sorensen, Hawley
