GIRLS from Northwich Rowing Club gained competitive experience when they raced at Runcorn Junior Regatta.
They raced in a round robin format over a sprint distance of 300m, and every one of them made the short journey home with a medal.
Cara Brook was a victor in an under 14s girls' single scull before forming a coxed quad with Isabella Wishart, Olivia Frost, Grace Sperring-Toy and coz Izzy Garlick that took silver in the same age-group category.
Jennifer Riley took silver in a single before adding a bronze gong to her collection together with Tilly Little as part of a double scull.
"It was an opportunity for them to race in a small boat and they all loved it," said Graham Jump, the club's chairman.
