TWO members of Winnington Park’s growing women’s section will wear Cheshire’s colours for a match on home turf this afternoon.
Forwards Laura Underdown and Thea Breau have both been selected for a Gill Burns Women’s County Championship opener against Staffordshire at Burrows Hill, kick-off 2.30pm.
They are joined in the squad by former teammates Hannah Burt and Carrie Tooley, who played for the Northwich club last season before transferring to Firwood Waterloo before the start of the current campaign.
Cheshire will also take on their counterparts from Warwickshire and Leicestershire in Division Two Pool One fixtures over the next fortnight.
