NORTHWICH Sapphires ensured they finished the Cheshire Elite League season with an unblemished record after prevailing in their final fixture.
Already certain to finish top of the table, the newly-crowned champions recorded an emphatic 75-28 win against NW Panthers at Winsford Lifestyle Centre on Saturday.
It is the 11th success of a remarkable season for the first team, who also finished sixth in the North West Championship League’s Division One.
