NORTHWICH seconds hope to follow their first win of 2019 with another one when they host Wirral's thirds on Saturday.
Blacks ran out 34-10 winners at their Liverpool St Helens counterparts while director of rugby Martin Poste watched from the sideline.
They are optimistic they can finish the Division Two South campaign on a high.
"With four games left, all of them against sides below us in the table, we have an opportunity to finish strongly," said coach Chris Hart.
"We started a major rebuild last September which involved promoting a number of our promising colts players into senior rugby, and they have grown in confidence as the season has unfolded.
"That should stand us in good stead for next season."
In Division Four South Northwich thirds travel to table-toppers Newcastle (Staffs) seconds, kick-off 3pm.
