WITTON Albion boss Carl Macauley hailed a collective effort by his players following a 1-1 draw with Stafford on Tuesday.
They appeared on a course to beat Boro thanks to Ben Harrison’s first-half opener only for Paul Bignot’s deflected shot to rescue a draw for the visitors deep into added time.
The visitors lost three players to injury – Danny McKenna before kick-off before Matty Devine and Osebi Abadaki succumbed in the second-half – and only had one substitute to call on.
Who stood out for you in Witton’s colours?
