Winnington Park Ladies 6-0 Crewe Vagrants Ladies 2nd
WINNINGTON Park had maximum points, and with them promotion, secured by the break of their meeting with Crewe last weekend.
Their reward for a top-four finish in the Cheshire Women's Hockey League's first division is an invite to play in a newly-formed West Pennines Division Two South from next season.
They almost scored inside 30 seconds when Leona Wyllie's steered a shot narrowly wide of an upright with only the visitors' goalkeeper to beat.
However a breakthrough arrived when Jaz Barlow found the net before Wyllie doubled the Northwich team's lead.
Helen Moore and Barlow, again, both scored before the interval.
Crewe put up greater resistance in the second-half but they could not prevent Moore from doubling her personal tally or Barlow completing a hat-trick.
Deeside Ramblers 3rd 2-0 Winnington Park Ladies 2nd
PROMOTED Deeside proved too strong for Winnington but took control only after the visitors had wasted chances before the interval.
Izzy Warrener fired wide twice, while Hermione Mason's speed caused discomfort for the home team's defenders.
Becky Forster, the visitors' player of the match, worked tirelessly up front without the reward of a goal.
Instead Deeside found the net, on both occasions after a goalmouth scramble left goalkeeper Sofi Waterer with no chance of making a save, to complete a Division Three double over Park.
