CHESHIRE Stars T remain on course for a top-half finish in the Everybody Netball League’s Premier Division after recording a victory in their latest outing.
They defended solidly to keep out Ladyhawks A during a 37-30 triumph that leaves them seventh in the table.
Em Coop was chosen afterwards as their best performer on court.
Stars S led until the final quarter of a narrow 34-31 reverse against Falcons in the same section and remain without a victory this season.
Danielle Oultram’s accurate shooting earned for her a player-of-the-match nomination.
Stars A played out a close encounter with Scorpions in the Championship Division before, overturning a six-goal deficit established following a third-quarter surge to win 34-31.
Abby Hilldrup was the victors’ star turn, keeping her side third in the table.
