NORTHWICH Victoria’s run of results during February has been recognised by the North West Counties League.
Officials named Vics as their Premier Division Club of the Month after they twice progressed in the FA Vase despite not being expected to eliminate either Histon or Sholing.
Their reward is a semi-finals date later this month with Chertsey Town.
Steve Wilkes’ side were reliable too while on league duty, recording back-to-back wins against Abbey Hey (1-0) and then West Didsbury & Chorlton (6-0) without conceding a goal.
They also ran City of Liverpool close in a Macron Cup quarter-finals encounter at Bootle before bowing out after a 2-1 defeat.
Vics begin March with a trip to Hanley Town tomorrow, Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm.
