Hermione Mason, a hurdler from Cuddington, won a bronze medal in the under 15s girls' 60m hurdles at the Northern Athletics Indoor Championships in Sheffield
A SCHOOLGIRL from Northwich was rewarded with a bronze medal after a lifetime best performance during the Northern Indoor Championships.
Hermione Mason, a student at Hartford Church of England High School, finished third in the under 15s girls’ 60m hurdles final in Sheffield after clocking 9.28s.
The Sale Harriers member, who lives in Cuddington, crossed the line first in both her heat and semi-finals races and occupies fifth position in the UK rankings as a result.
She turns her attention next to preparations for the track season later this year.
