NORTHWICH Victoria will have home advantage when they host a former FA Vase winner in the last eight of this season’s edition.
Steve Wilkes’ side were paired with Sholing, who lifted the trophy at Wembley in 2014, in a draw for the quarter-finals broadcast live on talkSport2.
The visitors to Wincham Park later this month occupy top spot in the Wessex League’s Premier Division after winning all but one of their matches to date.
They progressed in the FA Vase following a 3-1 win against Sporting Khalsa on Saturday.
Vics eliminated Histon by the same score, coming from behind to prevail after extra-time at the Glassworld Stadium.
They have won six matches already to reach this stage on only their second appearance in the competition.
