WINSFORD Saxons reserved a place in the Crewe and District FA Junior Shield semi-finals after dispatching neighbours Over 3 Grange.

Ste Hughes and Greg Lumsden both bagged a brace, and substitute Jake Billinge was on target too, in an emphatic 5-1 win at Knights Grange.

Karl Felton replied for Over.

Barnton Wanderers bowed out following a 3-1 defeat at Cheshire League side Holmes Chapel.

Madeley White Star, conquerors of Mary Dendy, and Sandbach Curshaws - who edged Tarporley Victoria in following a penalty shoot-out earlier this month, complete the last-four line-up.

The only scheduled fixture in the Crewe and District League's top-flight, between Clock Tower and Sandbach Town, was postponed.
