WARRINGTON Town Netball club picked up where they left off as they resumed their campaign with another victory.

They pulled away in the third and fourth quarters to secure a convincing 53-46 win at Blackpool – their third consecutive victory.

It allowed them to leapfrog their opponents into fourth place in the North West Netball Premier Division and avenge their home defeat to the same team in September.

Goalshooter Lucy Bradley won the player of the match award, with wing attack/defence Katie Brennan picking up the coach’s player prize.

“It was sweet revenge to beat Blackpool convincingly on their home ground,” coach Yvonne Sampson said.

“The whole squad has finally found their winning ways. They are playing with passion, self-belief and a will to win.”

Warrington’s next game sees them host Trafford on Saturday, January 26.
