WITTON Albion have reminded teenagers they can watch matches for free at Wincham Park for the remainder of the season.

The Northwich club's membership scheme, launched earlier this year, offers a range of incentives for under 18s including not having to pay to take in a Northern Premier League top-flight fixture involving Carl Macauley's men.

"We've had a good response so far," said director Alan Jackson.

"However want to keep spreading the word that youngsters can come and see the highest-ranked club in the town when they like - and it won't cost them anything."

There are no restrictions on who can apply, save for they must be under 18.

Once approved, a membership card will be issued that admits the holder to home games.

There are other perks too, such as being a mascot and being eligible for discount at the club shop.

Jackson said: "We've plans to introduce other benefits shortly too.

"There have been more juniors at our games this year, which is great, and we'd like to continue growing that audience as much as we can."

Meanwhile Albion also hope to boost attendances during the second-half of the campaign through sales of a half-season ticket.

Valid from Boxing Day, when Witton are scheduled to host neighbours Warrington Town, they will allow entry to each of the team's remaining 13 home games.

Adults, aged between 21 and 65, pay £99 for one.

They are available to over 65s for £79, while under 21s will be charged £49.

Application forms can be collected from the social club every Saturday afternoon.
