EAGLE Sports reaffirmed their Cheshire Football League title credentials by beating fellow high-fliers Middlewich Town on Saturday.
Edward Burthem, Richard Chinn and Olly Fleming were on target for Eagle at Thornton Road as they secured a 3-2 victory, with all five goals coming before half time.
They remain fourth and trail leaders Altrincham reserves by seven points having played a game less.
Elsewhere, it is back-to-back home defeats for Daten, who were beaten 2-1 by Whaley Bridge Athletic at Charnock Road despite a goal from substitute Andrew Hodgkinson.
In League One, Tom Smith was on target for Moore United but they were thrashed 5-1 at Halebank.
There are now no Cheshire League fixtures until Saturday, December 29.
