WITTON Albion had to settle for a draw from a meeting with Bamber Bridge following Kieran Charnock’s goal during injury-time.
It means Carl Macauley’s side have lost only one of their past five matches in the Northern Premier League’s top-flight.
They fell behind when Alistair Waddecar curled a free-kick into the top-corner on the hour before Michael Wilson converted a penalty to restore parity after Anthony Gardner had been fouled.
Tom Owens then swept in Wilson’s cross to put the home side in front before Charnock, a former favourite at Northwich Victoria before a transfer to Peterborough United more than a decade ago, blasted past goalkeeper Greg Hall on 91 minutes.
Albion’s number one had produced a stunning save from Waddecar’s spot-kick in the first-half.
Who stood out for you in Witton’s colours?
