WITTON Albion exited the FA Trophy on Saturday following a 2-1 defeat at higher-ranked Leamington.
However the Northwich side delivered a performance that manager Carl Macauley said afterwards had made him proud of his players.
They dominated the second-half of a third round qualifying tie at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium, where James Foley put the visitors in front inside 10 minutes.
Colby Bishop converted a penalty to level for the Brakes before substitute Anthony Dwyer delivered a knockout blow with a goal in the third minute of added time.
