Winnington Park Ladies 96-0 Liverpool Collegiate Ladies
A PLACE at the next stage of the RFU Women’s Junior Cup was the reward for Winnington Park after they dispatched league rivals Liverpool Collegiate.
The Northwich side touched down 18 tries, more than a dozen of those from their backs division after their forwards dominated territory and possession throughout.
Full-back Danielle Lydiate claimed three of those, while wing Hanna Lydiate helped herself to half-a-dozen.
There was a treble too for Laura Underdown, while Jen Neary scored a brace of tries.
Thea Breau, Nessa Hadley, Cerys Lancaster and Abby Riley-Bessant dotted down as well to the delight of a large and vocal crowd at Burrows Hill.
The teams meet again in a North Two West fixture on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.
