WITTON Albion are through to the FA Cup fourth qualifying round following a 2-1 win at FC United of Manchester.
It is their third victory in this season’s competition, a run that has secured for the Northwich club a total of £30,000 in prize money.
Their captain, Rob Hopley, scored a decisive goal midway through the second-half of Saturday’s game after Jack Banister had cancelled out James Foley’s opener.
The home team finished the contest with eight men after Kurt Willoughby, skipper Harry Winter and Elliot Simoes were sent off.
