NORTHWICH seconds ran out emphatic victors in a derby encounter with their Winnington Park counterparts.

They did not look back from the moment Antony Keller fed Ian Lamb for an opening try, converted by Richard Hart, during the early exchanges.

Shaun Burmah was the next player to get his name on the score-sheet, picking up from a scrum before scoring out wide, and the men from Burrows Hill were playing catch-up.

A turnover from Daniel Gregory then sparked a counter that ended with Elis Vickery charging to the line and Hart going over.

He converted his own try.

Further scores followed from Tom Husbands, Fraser Dodd and Kyle Lindsay before Park notched their only score after catching the home team napping.

Blacks increased their points total in the second-half when Burmah, Husbands, Jack Bailie and Dan Collins went over.

A serious injury to Winnington's Jack Lanceley, who suffered a suspected broken leg, led to both sets of players wishing him a full and speedy recovery.
