There will be a new name on the Mid-Cheshire Bowling Association's Joe Robinson Trophy after the last eight gather at Cuddington for the finals
CONTENDERS for the Joe Robinson Trophy will play down to a winner at Cuddington Bowls Club today, Thursday.
Comberbach have two representatives in the shape of Adrian Robinson and Dennis Leather.
Robinson will face Lostock's Tony Malisch first, with the winner then set to face the victor of the Lester Bebbington (Wharton Cons) and Graham Hodson (Norley) contest in the semi-finals.
In the other half of the draw, Leather will square up with Hartford's David Bradburne for the chance to battle with the winner from the meeting between Tony Milburn (Winnington) and Eric Jones (Owley Wood) in the last four.
Games are scheduled to start at 1.30pm.
