WINNINGTON Park Rugby Club have made changes at administration level.

The role of chairman of girls and women's rugby held by Paula Bradbury has been realigned as she now takes on the title Cheshire RFU and disciplinary liaison officer.

Girls' under 13s and under 15s rugby is repositioned into the overall mini and juniors section headed by Paul Rees, while the under 18s and women's team will reside in the senior rugby section headed by Dave Allcock, the director of rugby.

Chairman Paul Dean and president Brian Concannon said in a statement: "A huge thanks goes out for all the work that Paula has done with the inception, subsequent growth and management of the girls section."

Also, James Neill has taken on the newly created role, director of communications.

"It has become increasingly important that the overall communication of club events, social media management, press relations, news, volunteer requests, marketing, fixtures etc is managed in a concise and efficient way," it says in the statement.

"This is a considerable and important task and we have therefore decided to create a committee position which will be responsible for this area.

"James has been with the club for around six years following his son’s progress from the under sixes to currently the under 11s, where he is also heading the team in organising the Cheshire under 11s Festival."
