1874 NORTHWICH will have home advantage when the resume their FA Vase campaign next month.
A reward for eliminating Pontefract Collieries on Sunday is to play host again, this time to Chichester City, at the competition’s fifth-round stage.
At stake is a place in the last eight.
Both teams have never previously played at this stage.
A side managed by Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison ran out 3-1 victors against Pontefract, from the Northern Counties East League, to continue their progress.
Meanwhile Chichester, currently fifth in the Southern Combination’s Premier Division, ended the run of hosts Horley Town on Saturday.
The Chi, as they are called, are provisionally scheduled to visit on Saturday, February 3.
A draw for the last 16 was made live on talkSPORT 2 on Monday afternoon.
